We charge a little more for new style cuts as new style cuts take longer as we take time to discuss your preferences before cutting and styling your hair. In comparison, a style maintenance cut is simply that - we are simply refreshing your look and shortening your layers or existing style.

Depending on when a stylist underwent training and their apprenticeship at Tafe, stylists may have been trained in barber services such as beards, fades, skin fades and cut-throat shaves. Luckily, a number of our team are trained in barbering as well as being qualified hairdressers but, with the addition of a dedicated barber - TRIBECA have all your hair needs covered.

We no longer provide "dry cuts" as cutting hair is intricate and requires hair to be wet to stretch and sit properly when cut. After consultation with our team and evaluation of "dry cut" and prewashed hair cut finishes, we determined that a professional cut needs to include a shampoo service.

Like a shampoo, finishing a cut with styling allows our stylists to ensure that your haircut is sitting properly when it's dry. Styling also allows us to discuss your home styling routine, try and discuss styling products which may be suitable. We believe a professional haircut isn't professional without a styled finish.

We pride ourselves on being fully transparent with our clients, especially with pricing their services. Our hair pricing structure considers the product and stylist time required to lighten, colour or style your hair, with longer or thicker hair priced higher due to the additional product and time required. Understandably, we need to dry your hair after a colour or highlight service to ensure that we have achieved your desired result. While drying and styling we are also confirming your colour or lightener application and processing to ensure a quality, uniform finish. We include a styled finish with all our hair colour or highlight packages to ensure we deliver a professional result.
